Learn to Skate Program

 
 
 
Spring Session registration is open February 15! This session runs from March 12 - May 3, 2025.
 
This program offers quality instruction for many comprehensive skills using the United States Figure Skating Association guidelines and standards. Professional instructors conduct class in a positive atmosphere, making learning to skate a fun experience for recreational, hockey and figure skaters of all ages.
 
Session rates are for seven weeks.
 
One Class Per Week, Per Skater:
Resident, $98; Non-Resident, $106
 
Two Classes Per Week, Per Skater:
Resident, $146; Non-Resident, $158

Refund/Pro Rate Policy: 
No refunds after the second class of the session. No refunds for missed classes. The DISC does not pro-rate class sessions. One make-up class is permitted during each session and must be used within the Fall session. Note: A $10 processing fee will be charged for refunds.

Skates are available to rent, and can be reserved during Learn to Skate registration for a fee of $15 for all classes.
 
Skaters should arrive 15 minutes to their scheduled classes, and dress in comfortable and warm clothing. Single blade hockey or figure skates are required. Laces are preferred over Velcro or buckles. If you are looking for skates, our highly-trained staff will assist you in getting the right skates, our highly-trained staff will assist you in getting the right skates for your skater and the correct fit for your foot. We offer skates for beginner and advanced skaters through the Pro Shop, located inside the lobby of the DISC.
 
A mandatory annual fee of $20 for a Learn to Skate USA membership will be added to the cost of registration.
